Hello Owl Families,
Happy Sunday Owls! We hope you have had a wonderful week together. Tomorrow school resumes with the gates opening at 7:30 and school beginning at 7:55. We only have 15 school days until Winter break so please be on time and here everyday.
This week we begin celebrating students at our Trimester Awards. We kick off with First Grade and Ms. Gautreau’s classes on Tuesday at 8:15 and then Fourth Grade and Ms. Laing’s classes at 9:15. If your child is receiving an award you should have been notified already by email and text. We will send a reminder to the recipients again tomorrow night. The rest of the grade levels will be next week.
Today ends our iReady Challenge. Each child from grades Kindergarten through Fifth Grade who passes the most lessons with 80% accuracy will receive a gift card of their choice to anywhere in Escondido. We hope your child participated because even if they don’t win the gift card they win in growing their brain.
Please note that Friday, December 20 is a minimum day. Students will be released at 12:05. Thank you!
Save the date…our Winter Wonderland is happening Friday, December 13, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. We will have many activities and food opportunities and a very special guest…SANTA! You and your family will want to be here!
