Tomorrow school is closed in observance of Memorial Day. We hope you enjoy the extra day off and remember those that gave their lives while serving our country.
Coming late is still great because you are worth the wait! We understand that some appointments are unavoidable and you have to schedule them during the school day. We ask that you bring them to school when the appointment is over or bring them to school and then check them out early for the appointment. We love having them here!
Returning Student Registration is now open for all students. Go to eusd.org to start the registration process for the new school year. Getting it done now saves you time later. If you need assistance with the process please contact the office and we would be happy to help you.
Our biggest fundraising event is kicking off this week with the APEX Fun Run. Students will learn about it Tuesday morning in a whole school assembly. In short, students get pledge donations for running. Family and friends can pay for each lap or a simple donation. Our goal is to raise $8,000! You are welcome to attend the assembly to learn more!
Thursday is Open House. We will have the school open to you from 5:30 - 6:30. Our students and staff have been working hard to show you how much they have grown. We hope to see you there!
On Fridays we do sell ice cream and it is $1. We have some students bringing $5, $10, or even $20 to buy ice cream for their friends. We ask that you not send money to buy for friends because some of those students’ families do not want them to have ice cream. They should only buy for themselves or their siblings. Also, we are not responsible for lost or stolen money. Thank you for understanding.
Our May attendance challenge is in full swing and we have hundreds of students earning water balloons to throw at me by coming to school everyday for the week. We will let you know when I will get soaked with all this great attendance!
