Picture Day!

Hello Owl Families,

September is Attendance Awareness Month.  Not only do we have the Silly String September challenge happening but we have a district poster contest.  Design a poster that shows what Every Day Counts means to you.  We will have one winner per grade level and then one overall winner will go up against the other schools to be the district winner.  They will have their poster displayed at all schools, on stickers, and so much more.  All submissions must be in by September 24, 2025.

Picture Day is this Wednesday, September 17, 2025.  We will have a make-up day on September 24.  Dress to impress and show us that amazing smile!

Wednesday is our first PTA Association meeting at 6:30 PM.  We will send out a link to the meeting.  This first meeting is important because we need you to vote to release money to use for our students and staff.  And every student will get 10 owl slips if their parent attends and is a member of PTA!  Not a member yet…stop by the office to join for only $10 per person.

Cell Phones are allowed at school but are not to be used during school hours which includes any after school activities.  Cell Phones must be turned off (powered down, not just silent) and put away in a back pack.  Students who are found using their phones during the day will have the phone confiscated and returned to the student at the end of the day.  Second time is parent pick up and if there is a third we will need to have a parent and principal conference.  Thank you for your support.

We understand that the weather is warm and some days are just plain hot.  We still need to wear clothing that is appropriate for school which means tank tops must have straps that are at least two fingers in width.  We do not allow spaghetti straps.  Thank you for your understanding.

Well, that is all for now…stay safe Owls and have a great week!
