Hello Owls,
The Book Fair is here! Every class will visit the Book Fair with their class. It will also be open for families on Tuesday from 4:00 - 5:00 PM and Thursday from 12:15 - 1:30 PM. We hope your child finds a great book to read.
This Thursday is Custodian Day. We will thank our custodian, Nelly, for all she does to keep our school clean and safe. If you would like to thank her, stop by with a note or card.
Tuesday ends our Silly String September attendance challenge. All students who missed no more than one day of school in September will get a prize and be entered into the raffle to Silly String Mrs. Pitard and our Owl mascots. This will happen on Friday, October 3 at our Friday Flag assembly if you would like to see the fun! We will notify you if your child is chosen to Silly String so you can be there but don't tell them...it will be a surprise!
Sign ups for Parent Teacher Conferences should be out this week at the latest. Please note that we are limited in our ability to obtain translators so if you need help in another language please try and bring someone you trust to help. And if a video conference is better for you please let your teacher know.
Sending healthy snacks for your child to eat at recess is great (especially for those who have moods controlled by hunger). Thank you for understanding and if you can please let your child know to not share with others. We never know who has allergies.
